The Blue Heron Board of Directors has voted on
and adopted some revisions to the parking Rules and Regulations shown as
followed.
BLUE HERON
CONDOMIMIUM PARKING RULES AND
REGULATIONS
(Revised April 6,
2011)
The following rules and
regulations are designed to ensure reasonable and safe access for
residents and their guest.
These rules and regulations
are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Blue Heron
Board of Directors
These rules and regulations
apply to all Residents and their Guests with no exceptions.
BASIC PARKING RULES
a) Body
paint color of the vehicle must be uniform throughout, with no
mismatched doors or other parts.
b) Vehicles must have
all essential parts, such as, but not limited to tires, wheels, engine,
brakes, windows, lights and lenses, exhaust system, etc, that are
necessary for legal operation of the vehicle on public streets.

Parking
of commercial vehicles, defined as a vehicle with any lettering or
having advertising or printing on any portion of the body, or having
business/commercial equipment on, or attached to the vehicle, is
strictly prohibited. Commercial racks, ladders or pipes all strictly
prohibited.

Commercial vehicles
parked overnight will be towed immediately with no further notice.

Parking of any motor
homes, house trailers, mobile homes, automobile trailers,
recreational vehicles, private or public school or church buses,
campers, trucks over 3/4 ton, boats, boat trailers, jet skis and
sailboats are not permitted on the Condominium Property.

There is no repair or
maintenance of any vehicle allowed on the Condominium property with
the exception of flat tires or jump starting.

Vehicles may not be
parked or stored unattended in a hazardous condition, including, but
not limited to, vehicles on jacks or blocks.

All vehicles must be
kept in proper operating condition so as not to be a hazard or
nuisance by noise, exhaust emission, fluid emission, or otherwise.
Any cleanup associated with any automotive fluid will be charged to
the resident responsible for the mess.

The washing of cars is
prohibited on Condominium property.
-
Motorcycles must use
vinyl coated chains to secure bike to Condominium property. A board
or tile block must be used under the kick stands to minimize damage
to pavement. Boards, tiles, block or chains cannot be left behind
when motorcycle is driven off.

All damages incurred to
parking spaces or carport columns that require repairs will be
billed to unit owners.
PARKING PERMITS
-
All
resident vehicles must bear either a permanent, non-transferable,
parking permit sticker, or a temporary/visitor parking permit, both
to be issued by the Management office during open hours:
-
Photo ID and vehicle registration is required to obtain all
parking permits.

Renters must also present a current approved lease agreement to
obtain their sticker that will designate the expiration dates of
the lease. NOTE: All lease parking stickers must be currently
dated or the vehicle will be subject to removal from the
premises.

Only the Property Manager and Board Members are allowed to affix
any parking permits to vehicles.

No vehicle may be parked overnight in any parking area of the
Condominium unless they have a valid Blue Heron Parking Sticker
or a temporary/visitor parking permit. The term "overnight
parking" is defined as parking from 12:00 Midnight to 7:00 A.M.

Parking must be rear end out so parking stickers can be seen
from the driveway.

Permits will only be issue to vehicles that are registered in an
approved resident’s name.

Parking permits can
be rescinded/revoked by the Board when any of the following
occurs:

Permit
is obtained under false pretenses.
-
Upon
expiration of a lease or no lease is submitted.
-
A unit
owner is delinquent.
-
For
reasons of gross misconduct and repeated covenant violations.

Visitor
and rental cars must register their vehicles with the on site
Property Manager to obtain a temporary parking permit.

Temporary parking permits may be obtained from the on site
management office during operating hours. (8:00 am to 12:00 noon
- Monday – Friday)

Temporary permits will
be affixed by Management in the rear window, indicating length of
stay, tag #, and address the guest will be residing at while on
premises

It is the
responsibility of the residents to inform their visitors of the
parking restrictions and help them obtain a temporary parking
permit.
IMMOBLILZATION “BOOTING” & TOWING OF VEHICLES
a) Vehicles illegally
parked in reserved spaces.
b) Abandoned or
unregistered vehicles.
c) Vehicles parked in
any designated fire lanes
d) Any vehicle parked
that blocks another vehicle, blocks a
sidewalk, or prevents ingress or egress from or to an adjacent parking
space, parking areas or a street.
e) Commercial vehicles parked overnight.
a) A warning notice will be posted on the offending vehicle.
b)
A waiting period of 72 hours will follow to determine if the violation
has been corrected or if the vehicle owner has contacted management with
an acceptable corrective action he/she is taking to resolve the issue.
c) The offending vehicle will be immobilized “booted” if the violation
has not been corrected upon expiration of the 72 hour waiting period.
d) If
a vehicle is immobilized “booted” twice, it will be towed upon any third
violation.
NOTE: The
vehicle owner shall be responsible for all costs incurred during the
immobilization “booting”, towing and storage procedure, as well as all
incidental costs or expenses incurred as a result of having said vehicle
towed from the property.
